Start with the Manufacturing Process
A TPE extruder supplies molten thermoplastic elastomer for downstream processing. When comparing a sex toy making machine for soft TPE products, evaluate the extruder, molds and material-handling stages together. An extrusion rate alone does not define the output of a complete factory.
1. Identify the exact TPE material
Provide the material grade, supplier information, pellet or oil-and-powder form, coloring requirements and any planned recycled content. A soft finished product may be made from TPE or liquid silicone, but those materials need different equipment. TPR-labeled materials and PVC formulations require their own compatibility review.
2. Compare melt output with the mold schedule
Estimate how much material is needed for each product and how often each mold can be filled. Compare this demand with the approximate machine output, then review preparation time, holding capacity and downstream handling. The nine listed Chencheng models have different reference outputs; do not convert those figures directly into guaranteed finished pieces per hour.
3. Check the full machine specification
Review the selected model page for machine dimensions, installed power, weight and approximate output. Installed power is not measured electricity consumption. Confirm voltage, frequency, phase, machine access, working space and any screw or barrel requirements before finalizing an order.
4. Match the equipment around the extruder
Review material preparation, melt holding and degassing, product molds, filling, the confirmed mold process and eligible scrap handling. A pellet-coloring workflow and an oil-and-powder preparation workflow do not automatically require the same mixer. Build the proposal around the stages you actually need and the equipment you already own.
5. Prepare a useful equipment RFQ
Send the intended product and dimensions, material information, target output, mold quantity and drawings or samples, existing equipment, factory utilities, available space and destination country. Ask the supplier to confirm the machine scope, auxiliary equipment, customization details, price, lead time and service arrangements in the quotation.
